Only God Forgives Movie

Only God Forgives in an upcoming crime drama thriller movie written and directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. The film is described as a Bangkok-set modern Western that sees a Thai police lieutenant and a gangster settling their differences in a Thai-boxing match. The cast includes Ryan Gosling, Kristin Scott-Thomas, Vithaya Pansringarm and Yayaying. The film should be released sometime in 2012.

Plot:
"Julian is on the run from the British police. He runs a Thai Boxing club in Bangkok which is a front for a drugs smuggling operation. He is well respected within the criminal underworld, but deep in his heart he feels that his life is lacking something. He meets a retired cop, The Angel of Vengeance, and finds out that he has to confront his mother."

I guess we may expect a few Muay Thai scenes then! But does Ryan Gosling knows anything about Thai boxing? Or are they going to hire a stuntman? And do you think this film will give a more realistic picture of Bangkok than the Hangover 2?
